Ghana: Maulvi Wahab Adam returns home
While Maulvi Adam was in London, he participated in the International Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Annual Peace Symposium in the UK.

Dr Maulvi Abdul Bin Wahab Adam, the Ameer and Missionary-in –charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission of Ghana has returned home from London after a year’s special duties at its International Headquarters in the United Kingdom.
A statement signed by Ahmad N. Twumasi, Public Relations Officer of the Mission, said on Monday.
The statement said Maulvi Adam was met on arrival at the Airport last Thursday by some executives members of the Ghana Mission including Acting Ameer Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, Second Deputy Ameer and Mr K.T. Hammond, MP for Adansi Asokwa and ex-Minister of Energy.
It noted that while Maulvi Adam was in London, he participated in the International Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Annual Peace Symposium in the UK.
During the symposium, the statement said Dr Ohene-Nana Boachie Adjei, Founder of FOCOS Orthopaedic Clinic in Accra was honoured for his services to humanity by Hadhrat Masroor Ahmad Khalifatul V, the Supreme Head of the World Wide Ahamadiyya Muslim Community.
According to the statement, Maulvi Adam also took part in the Ahmadiyya Muslim Pan –African Association Conference which commemorates the 50th Independence Anniversaries of Algeria, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Malawi and some other Africa countries.
“He also participated in the last week’s conference of the World Religions at Guildhall in London which was organised by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the UK as part of its centenary celebration.
The conference which was officially opened by Kahlifatul Masih V provided platform for religious leaders, politicians and diplomats to bring to the fore the distinctive contributions that religion could make towards peace in the world. It was on the theme, “God in the 21st Century,” the statement added. GNA
