A special prayer will be recited, for people in parts of the world where there is conflict and hostility, at Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations tomorrow.

The celebrations will be hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Trinidad and Tobago at its headquarters at Ahmadiyya Centre, Polo Ground Road, Preysal at 9 a.m.

The Eid sermon will be delivered by Maulana Ibrahim Bin Yaqub, head and missionary-in-charge of the organisation and a renowned scholar.

Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih V, spiritual head of the world-wide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and Ahmadiyya Missions of the world, will also address the gatherings [via satellite television from the UK].

“This special day brings much happiness and joy as Muslims take the opportunity to meet and mingle with their fellow brothers and sisters in Islam,” the organisation stated.

Following the service, a special treat will be held for children and underprivileged families in the surrounding area.
