Unfortunately, Islam is a misunderstood religion. As a practicing Muslim living in America, I feel it is my responsibility to clear these misconceptions. To do so, I have dedicated my life to serve God and mankind.
I recently moved here to serve as the imam (a title for a Muslim religious minister) for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of New Orleans Greater Area. Our mosque is located at 2113 38th Street in Kenner.
Prophet Muhammad taught us to serve God and serve those living in our communities, our neighbors, our elders and everyone in need of help. Therefore, I am here for the service of all Kenner’s residents. As an imam, I hope to be a productive part of Kenner, and I look forward to meeting Kenner’s residents.
