AHMADIYYA Muslim Association of Australia will open its doors to the public on Saturday.

The event will celebrate 25 years since its Australia Al-Masjid Baitul Huda mosque was opened in Marsden Park, which was the first in Australia.

The Mosque for Peace themed event includes a Holy Koran exhibition,a guided mosque tour and dinner.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event. "Our motto is love for all, hatred for none," association spokesman Mirja Sharif said.

"The event is aimed at raising awareness on how mosques play an important role in building peace with various communities and establishing strong and sustainable relationships with the broader community. We want people to know we're all about, which is building peace."

Around 3000 people attend the mosque at Marsden Park each week.

"Our members are very proactive in the community in events such as Clean Up Australia and Red Cross blood donations," Mr Sharif said.

"A lot of them emigrated to Australia and want to give back to the country.

"We want to get the message to the community that we want to work with you, shoulder to shoulder."
