This letter is in response to a story on InsideNoVa.com entitled "Possible ISIS leaflets found in town of Quantico." Over the past year, there are many examples of youth being attracted by extremists such as ISIS. As a member of Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA), it is clear that we need to offer Islamic solution to this problem of radicalization.

In the more than 120 years of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community's history, not a single youth has been implicated in any extremist activity. As such, AMYA hosted an event at the United Nations in New York in which representatives from some 25 countries were in attendance as AMYA leaders spoke on the topic of "Islamic Solutions to Muslim Youth Radicalization."


This event also marks the launch of nationwide "Muslim Youth Against Radicalization" (Stop the CrISIS) campaign, which will feature many events to fight the radicalization of Muslim youth through education. Many of the events are local. Please visit @GMUAMSA on Twitter for more information.
