“Muslims for the Good of Mankind” National Campaign to be launched on ‘Clean up Australia Day’ 2015
Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association Australia will launch its national campaign of “Muslims for the Good of Mankind” on Sunday 1st of March 2015 on ‘Clean Up Australia Day’.
The event organizer and the National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, Mr Waqas Ahmad says the enthusiasm amongst the volunteers becomes clear when visiting the clean-up Australia website where first 5 ‘most volunteers’ sites belong to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Australia.
"Our focus is Muslim youth…and under this campaign we have plan to engage our youth in projects such as Clean-up Australia Day, tree planting and charity walks all over Australia," Mr Waqas Ahmad. said. "Our campaign aims to organize our humanitarian and charity efforts in every state and present our Muslim Association as a model for the rest of the wider community by engaging our youth in such noble projects…and it’s a great need of the time.”
Ahmadiyya Muslim Associations Australia has registered more than 10 clean-up sites all over Australia including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, ACT & Tasmania.
Hundreds of Ahmadi Muslim volunteers have already signed up on ‘Clean Up Australia Day’ website to take part in the mega clean-up event.
