Meet a Muslim family (Rencontre avec une famille Musulmane). This is the name of the campaign launched by the Islamic Association Ahmadiyya, whose purpose is to promote peaceful living among different cultures and religions, softening feras and Islamophobia, that have increased since attacks to the French magazine Charlie Hebdo.
The project consists for a Muslim family to invite friends, neighbors, acquaintances at dinner in order to explain them what Islam really is and how they live it every day.
Such idea comes from a similar initiative started in Canada and Quebec and joins tens of Muslims’ initiatives to eradicate terrorism that is being widespread in their name.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of France said in its website that in light of increasing "Islamophobic attacks ... Ahmadi Muslims could not remain indifferent."
"Echoing a campaign launched in Canada and adopted by Quebec, the French branch of the Ahmadiyya decided to launch this initiative of citizens for an Ahmadi family entertaining guests and explain what is really Islam and as they live it every day," said the Ahmadiyya-France website.
"This action is necessary and essential to fight and defeat extremism," it was further asserted.
