USA: ‘Muslims for Life’ blood drive set for Tuesday


Ball State University’s Center for Peace and Conflict Studies and Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Indiana invites all students to unite in commemorating 9/11 victims by giving blood.

Ball State University’s Center of Peace and Conflict studies is sponsoring the “Muslims for Life” blood drive with Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Indiana.

This is part of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA’s fourth annual nationwide “Muslims for Life” blood drive campaign to honor the victims of 9/11 and emphasizes the Islamic teachings of the sanctity of life by collecting 13,000 pints of blood to help save 39,000 lives. During the previous three campaigns some 33,350 pints of blood have been collected, according to a press release.

Ball State University’s Center for Peace and Conflict Studies and Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Indiana invites all students to unite in commemorating 9/11 victims by giving blood. The "Muslims for Life" blood drive will be noon-4 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at Pruis Hall,.
