India: Maulana Fazlur Rehman Bhatti appointed Jama'at Ahmadiyya's Deputy Secretary of External Affairs


While in Gujrat, Maulana Bhatti was successful in cultivating peaceful relationships with many political, religious, and civic leaders of the state and beyond.

Qadian: Maulana Fazlur Rehman Bhatti has been appointed as the new Deputy Secretary of External Affairs for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Qadian, India.

Maulana Bhatti brings high experience to the new position after serving for 14 years as the Missionary In-Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at of Gujrat, a state in the western part of India.

While in Gujrat, where religio-political tensions often run high, Maulana Bhatti was successful in cultivating peaceful relationships with many political, religious, and civic leaders of the state and beyond.

Maulana Bhatti successfully reached out to a large number of ministers and other high officials in the Gujrat Government, including the then Chief Minister of Gujrat, and now the Prime Minister of India, Narendera Modi.

Maulana Bhatti's mission was to spread the peaceful message and teaching of Ahmadiyyat, the true Islam, to civic and political leaders including the Indian Prime Minister ,
