USA: New Jersey Ahmadi Muslims hold event to stop radicalization
The panel will discuss why extremism has no place in Islam, what New Jersey Muslims do to practice what Islam teaches and how to prevent youth radicalization.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of North Jersey will host the "Stop The CrISIS" event. This event is aimed at dismantling radicalization, bigotry and ignorance towards Muslims.
From the murder of Daniel Pearl to the Charlie Hebdo attacks, fanatics and fringe Muslim groups have plagued the past decade with violence in the name of Islam. The panel will discuss why extremism has no place in Islam, what New Jersey Muslims do to practice what Islam teaches and how to prevent youth radicalization.
The event will include speeches by national and local leadership from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and by community leaders, including the Parsippany Mayor James Barberio and a Hazlet Councilwoman Sue Kiley.
The event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 29 at The Villa at Mountain Lakes, 90 Route 46, Mountain Lakes.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a dynamic, reformist and fast-growing international movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, the Community spans 206 countries with membership over 160 million.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1920, is among the oldest American-Muslim organizations.
