India: Khalifa of Islam may visit Qadian for 124th Annual Convention in December
The disclosure to the Ahmadiyya membership about His Holiness' program to come to Qadian spread a mood of jubilance among the local residents.

Qadian: Ahmadiyya delegates invited the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to join the supreme head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat (His Holiness) Mirza Masroor Ahmad, in Qadian, who will attend the 124th Ahmadiyya Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention) 2015, to be held in Qadian in December.
The Indian media broke the news stating that Ahmadiyya delegates invited Chief Minister Badal to the Jalsa Salana which he accepted and promised that 'it will be his great honor to attend the convention in the presence of the Khalifa of Islam, His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad.'
Indian Newspapers Daily Ajit (Jalandhar), Dainik Savera Times (Jalandhar), Daily Punjabi Jagran and other Indian media disclosed that Ahmadiyya delegation, joined by Jathedar Seva Singh Sekhwan, Ex-Cabinet Minister and Chairman ITI Borad, met chief Minister Badal in Chandigarh.
On the other hand, the disclosure to the Ahmadiyya membership about His Holiness' program to come to Qadian has spread a mood of jubilance among the local residents.
Balwinder Singh Mintu Bajwa, Chairman Nagar Sewak Sanstha Qadian, said in a statement that they will warmly welcome His Holiness Ahmad to Qadian.
Other local residents including Amit Luthra, Hardeep Kumar, Sikandar Singh, Avtar Singh, and Harbans Singh Ashwani, said that His Holiness's tour to India will be useful for the development of Qadian and it will create love, peace and harmony atmosphere in India.
The official sources of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at have not yet confirmed His Holiness' visit to India.
