Japan: Ahmadiyya Mulsim Imam delivers lecture at Nagoya International Center


The delegation asked questions about distinctions of Ahmadiyyat-Islam in Japan, Muslims life in Japan, and how Islam responds to contemporary issues.

Mr Anees Ahmad Nadeem, Imam and president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association of Japan, delivered a lecture yesterday at Nagoya International Center about "The Reality of Islam for the Japanese people."

Lecture followed by Q&A session.

The delegation asked questions about distinctions of Ahmadiyyat-Islam in Japan, Muslims life in Japan, and how Islam responds to contemporary issues.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Japan is one of the oldest Muslim communities in Japan which started its missionary activities in Japan since 1935. Ahmadi Muslims in Japan are well known for their humanitarian activities after Hanshin Awajidai Shinsai (Kobe earthquake) & Higashi Nihon Daishinsai.

The worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a dynamic, fast-growing international revival movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community spans 206 countries with membership exceeding 160 millions.
