Donor conference takes place Friday, Nov. 20 at Woodbine Convention Hall
Humanity First Canada is helping to resettle Syrian refugees in Canada and it’s assisting other organizations in doing the same.
The charity is hosting its Donor Conference on Settling Syrian Refugees at north Etobicoke’s Woodbine Banquet & Convention Hall, 30 Vice Regent Blvd., on Friday, Nov. 20. A pre-conference workshop is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. and the conference will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will go towards helping Syrian refugees resettle in Canada.
It is hosting the conference in the hopes of spurring similar action from other organizations such as church groups, constituency groups, refugee sponsorship organizations and anyone who is interested in helping.
