USA: Ahmadiyya Muslim Delegation Attends Universal Peace Federation's American Leadership Conference


Imam Zafrullah's impressive presentation on marriage and family -- citing examples from the life of the Holy Founder of Islam, the Prophet Muhammad -- was greatly applauded by the audience.

Imam Muhammed Zafarullah of the Baitul Hameed Mosque in Chino, California, led a four-member Ahmadiyya Muslim delegation to Universal Peace Federation's American Leadership Conference to discuss “Interfaith Peace-building”, “Strengthening Marriage & Family”, and “Youth & Service” topics.

The event took place on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at  Embassy Suites Hotel in Arcadia where “Giving Thanks for Our Communities”was the broader theme of the symposium.

Including Nasser Zomorod, Chairman, UPF of Southern California and Sheriff Lee Baca, fourteen speakers presented their ideas.

Community Leaders from many walks of life, including law, social services, education, clergy, business, and journalism, related their valuable and fruitful efforts to promote peace in the society.

Imam Zafrullah's remarkable presentation on marriage and family -- citing examples from the life of the Holy Founder of Islam, the Prophet Muhammad -- was greatly applauded by the audience.

The Imam told the audience that the Prophet Muhammad's life offered the solution to the host of present day problems of the world.

Imam Zafrullah introduced also the teachings of the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, particularly with reference to the marriage and family.

Three members from the elders and youth auxiliaries of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community accompanied Imam Zafrullah at the occasion.

Imam Zafarullah serves as the Southwest Regional in-charge of missionary outreach for Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada.

Administered primarily by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community's Los Angeles East chapter, the Baitul Hameed Mosque in Chino is central home to various So. Cal. Ahmadiyya Muslim chapters including, Los Angeles West, Los Angeles East, Los Angeles Inland Empire, and San Diego.
