Teams spread throughout the town of Qadian to clean streets, hospitals, railway station
Qadian: Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Qadian started its cleanliness drive here in Qadian today in the morning.
Maulana Mohammad Inaam Ghori started this drive with silent congregational prayers in Bahishti Maqbra grounds where hundreds of community members had gathered to participated in the volunteer work.
Speaking to the gathering, Ahmadiyya press secretary, K. Tarique Ahmad, said that Jam'at Ahmadiyya is preparing for its three days International Convention, Jalsa Salana, starting on December 26th. "It’s the part of the Jalsa Salana spirit to keep our city neat and clean."
Tarique Ahmad further stated that thousands of Ahmadi Muslims from across the world are coming in Qadian to participate the Jalsa Salana.
He said the cleanliness drive was the part of the national cleanliness campaign, "Swach Bharat" and timely for the preparations of Jalsa Salana Qadian.
Dozens of small teams of jamaat members cleaned streets, roads, hospitals, railway stations etc.
