Ahmadiyya Muslim elders, Majlis Ansarullah, Sri Lanka hold its Annual Ijtima on 13 December 2015 at ‘Baithul Hamd’ Colombo under the patronage of National President Mr. A.H. Nasir Ahmad. The event started with pre-dawn Thahajjud prayer and the first session began at 8.45 A.M.with the flag-hoisting followed by silent prayers.

Mr. I.A. Hafiz Ahmad, National President Majlis Ansarullah Sri Lanka chaired the event and welcomed the participants in his opening remarks.

Mr. A.H. Nasir Ahmad, National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Sri Lanka (AMJSL) delivered the key-note address. In his address National President said that each and every elder, Nasir, should be an example in his own life as Helpers of Allah. "They should show the dignity of Islam and the dignity of Holy prophet of Islam (PBUH) in their own life."

"They should be an example in accordance with the pledge of Ansarullah in their life. They should show complete obedience to the Khilafat-e Ahmadiyya and they should leave such a progeny behind them," the National President added.

In his address Moulavi A.B. Musthaq Ahmad – Chief Missionary -AMJSL, quoting from His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad’s recent address at Majlis Ansarullah, said, that merely celebrating 75 years of Majlis Ansarullah is meaningless as long as we do not have a change in ourselves to claim that we are Helpers of Allah. As Huzur said, we must be an example to our progeny, he added.

Moulavi M.Z. Munafjan, S. Nizam khan (President, Colombo Chapter) also addressed the event.

Quiz and small speech completion were held. Maximum number of Ansars representing all Jama’at in the country attended this one-day Ijtima.
