The event invites participants to walk or run for 10km to raise money for various causes, and has been a regular feature of AMYA’s charitable work. Since its inception in 1985, it has raised more than £2 million for UK charities.
Around 15 people aged from seven to 30 years old will be participating from the Farnham, Tilford, Elstead and Fleet areas.
Beneficiaries of the money raised by the charity challenge have included Barnardos, the British Heart Foundation, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Humanity First, Macmillan Cancer Support, the NSPCC, Save the Children, the Royal British Legion, The Royal Hospital for Neuro Disability Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, and the RNIB.
