On June 25 I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the interfaith meeting and breaking of the Ramadan fast at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Pittsburgh mosque in Wilkinsburg. Those in attendance were able to learn about the Ahmadiyya community as well as hear from speakers representing the Hindu and Sikh faiths in our region as well as some very thoughtful words from Wilkinsburg's mayor.

Afterward, we were treated to a great multifaceted meal but, more importantly, there was wonderful fellowship with all in attendance.

I thank the Tribune-Review for publicizing this event and encourage all members of our community to seek out and attend the next opportunity like this. Also many thanks to all of the members of the mosque and attendees who made this such a special evening.
