The Chicago Northwest chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, an auxiliary wing of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, will host a Holy Quran exhibition from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Sycamore Public Library, 103 E. State St. in Sycamore.

The purpose of this exhibition is to provide local residents with an introduction to Islam andidentify commonalities between Islam and the other major religions of the world. The goal is to help educate and dispel common myths and misunderstandings about Islam.

Those who attend can ask any questions they may have about Muslims and Islam, including but not limited to:

What is Islam?

What is the Holy Quran?

What is the status of women and their rights in Islam?

What are the prophecies of the Holy Quran?

These exhibitions are part of a 2016 national effort headed by Imam Faran Rabbani taking place in more than 60 towns across the United States.

For more information on the Holy Quran exhibition, contact Iftekhar Ahmad, national assistant director for outreach, Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, at iftekhar.ahmad@muslimyouth.org or visit www.muslimyouth.org.
