The Ahmadiyya Muslim community is donating hundreds of kilograms of items to the Regina Food Bank

Regina Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at members will be donating hundreds of kilograms of food items to the Regina Food Bank today to give back to the community.

The donation is to express gratitude for the support of local communities in building the first purpose-built mosque in Saskatchewan, said the group.

In addition to the Regina initiative, the Ahmadiyya Muslim community said it would be donating more than 100,000 kilograms of items to food banks across Canada.
