Islam Understood, an event to counter misunderstandings about the religion, was organized the Squamish Public Library on Saturday, Jan. 14.
The stop in Squamish is one of 150 the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is making across Canada.
The community has been actively involved in various aspects of society: promoting its motto, Love for All, Hatred for None.
With local chapters all across Canada, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at abides by the Quranic teachings of peace, harmony and service to mankind, and seek to foster these noble ideas into the hearts and minds of their members.
