Ghana: Ahmadiyya Mission commended for contributing towards nation building

Gomoa-Pomadze (C/R), March 19, GNA - Gomoaba Nana Apata Kofi V, the Chief of Gomoa Pomadze, has lauded the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission for its immense contribution to the country’s development.
He said: “The Mission’s investment in various sectors of the economy such as education, health and agriculture are in no doubt very commendable.”
Nana Apata Kofi also the Guantoahene of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, commended the Mission in an interview with the Ghana News Agency during its annual national convention at Gomoa Pomadze in the Central Region.
He said the religious body’s contribution towards the growth of the nation had created job opportunities for many Ghanaians.
The chief said the Mission had established schools and hospitals since its inception in the country some decades ago.
He said the Mission had revived the defunct Pomadze Poultry Industry and created jobs for the people and appealed for more of such interventions to provide opportunities for the teaming youth.

“Key players like religious organisations and traditional authorities need to collaborate to advance the course of nation building for the benefit of all.”
