UK: Ahmadiyyas organize Peace Seminar in Huddersfield South


The Regional President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association in Yorkshire and the North East, Mr Bilal Atkinson, delivered a speech on the role of Islam in combating extremism.

A Peace Seminar to help counter extremism was organised by Huddersfield South branch of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association (AMEA) in Bait ul Tauheed Mosque on Sunday 12 March 2017

In total 18 guests including representatives from the Fire Brigade and local community attended

Following the welcome address delivered by Mr Rasheed Sadiq Amini, the Regional President of AMEA in Yorkshire and the North East, the local Imam – Mr Sabahat Karim - presented some information about “What role does extremism play in Islam”

The Regional President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association in Yorkshire and the North East, Mr Bilal Atkinson, delivered a speech on the role of Islam in combating extremism.

Following a short question and answer session and a silent prayer dinner was served to the guests.
