India: Anti-drugs seminar held at Qadian


Nirpum Athwal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, said it was his first time to come in this seminar, which is organized with the co-operation of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat.

A seminar on drugs was held at Sarae Tahir in Qadian. It was organized by local Police ‘Saanjh Kendar’ with the co-ordination with Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Qadian.

On this occasion Maulana Syed Mubashir Ahmad Amil Local President addressed the seminar attendees at Sarae Tahir saying that Punjab youth are taking drugs and ruining their lives. So its time to caution the youths about the harmful effects of drugs.

In this seminar one Jama'at official, Nasar Ahmad Gouri, said that according to a survey 73 percent Punjab youths are taking drugs, which is an alarming situation for the society. Gouri said Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat is educating its youths and have engaged them in many sports activities and social welfare works.

Gouri asserted that Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat is a crime free society.

Nirpum Athwal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, said it was his first time to come in this seminar, which is organized with the co-operation of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat. Athwal said he was very impressed with the Ahmadiyya Youths and Jamia Ahmadiyya Students.

Athwal further said Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat is a noble Jamaat, which works for good causes and he said he will always be ready to offer his best services to Jamaat.

On this occasion Lalit Sharma, local Station House Officer also praised Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat.

At the end Partap Singh In-charge SAANJH KENDAR POLICE thanked the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat.
