Guatemala: Interim President Cabrera Visits Humanity First Hospital Project

A hospital will be opened, this is the title of a journalistic note of “Newspaper of Central America”
General surgery, internal medicine, gynecology and obstetrics and pediatrics are the specialties offered by the Hospital Nasir in Santa María Cauqué, Santiago Sacatepéquez, Sacatepéquez, which will open in a period of between 6 and 8 months and will serve no less than 30 Thousand people a year.
This project has a structure of 2,500 Sq/m and will have a 25-bed inpatient unit and a surgical area with a maternal and prenatal ward.
The site, which was visited by the acting president, Jafeth Cabrera, is being built by Humanity First, which since 2010 has benefited the most unprotected people in the country, according to its executive director, David Gonzalez.
Cabrera ensures that it will be a second level center, and will help the region's inhabitants, who will be able to take advantage of the specialties offered by North American doctors.
"I know the strength that Humanity First has as an organization that supports the different departments of the country. I want to congratulate them for this contribution they are giving to Guatemala and that strengthens our hospital network that needs it so much, "he said.
This event was attended by the Interim President of Guatemala, Jafeth Cabrera, Congressman Ileana Calles, Project Director Mr Majid Khan, Chairman Humanity First Guatemala, Imam Abdul Sattar, Financial Secretary, Mr Faiz Ahmad, Missionary, Imam Amar-ul-Nasir, Executive Director Humanity First Guatemala, David Gonzales, Project architect Mr Armando Mendoza, among others.
