Germany: Ahmadiyya Muslim patriots engaged with local community in Ebingen

They plant trees, organize fundraisers, blood donation campaigns, book lessons and themed events. And they invite their fellow citizens - as now on the mosques day  - and entertain them with Asian treats.

Albstadt-Ebingen (müb) -- On the Mosques Day, the members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community once again invited their fellow German citizens to their prayer house in Schmiechastraße and introduced their religious community and the campaign "We all are Germany".

The Ahmadiyya community was originally located in Pakistan but was regarded as heretical by the Sunni Muslims. Of the approximately 50 Albstädter community members, the older ones still come from Pakistan and India; but second generation members are born here and see themselves as Germans.

The Ahmadiyya Muslims cultivate a very special patriotism in their new homeland. Cleanliness, they say, is already very important to them on religious grounds, and so they try to serve the public by, for example, cleaning the streets of the Silvesternacht on New Year's Day.

They plant trees, organize fundraisers, blood donation campaigns, book lessons and themed events. And they invite their fellow citizens - as now on the mosques day  - and entertain them with Asian treats.
