Sri Lanka: Quran Sinhala Translation gift to Minister of Economic Affairs Dr. Harsha De Silve


Apart from the copy of Sinhala Translation of Holy Qur’an, Minister was presented the Sinhala translation of the book:: World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace with Peace Message.

A three member delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Sri Lanka (AMJSL) comprising Mr. A. Abdul Aziz, Press Secretary and National Director Faith Outreach – AMJSL, Moulavi A.B. Musthaq Ahmad – Chief Missionary (AMJSL), and Moulavi K.M. Munir visited various Ministries in Colombo to gift Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation to Ministers of various portfolios recently.

The delegation visited to the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs and met Honorable (Dr.) Harsha De Silva, Deputy Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs on 6 December 2017.

Ministry Officials welcomed the delegation and arranged to the Minister. Before presenting the copy of Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation, he was briefed about  Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at. The delegation pointed out about the unique feature of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and said that this is the only Community in Islam which has Spiritual Leadership established by God and termed as ““ONE COMMUNITY – ONE LEADER’. Our Motto: Love For All; Hatred For None, Minister was told. While mentioning about the advent of Reformer of this age, it was told that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, peace be on him, was sent as prophesized in major religions of the world.

Apart from the copy of Sinhala Translation of Holy Qur’an, Minister was presented the Sinhala translation of the book:: World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace with Peace Message.

Minister instructed to take the photograph of the event and said he will put it in his Twitter.

Next the delegation visited to the Ministry of Higher Education and Highways and met Private Secretary to the State Minister of Higher Education & Highways Ms. Pium Madawala. As the Parliament proceedings going on, on behalf of the Hon. Minister Mohan Lal Grero, Private Secretary accepted the copy of Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation as well as the Sinhala Translation of the book: World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace.

Then the delegation proceeded to the Ministry of Disaster Management and met Co-ordinating Secretary Mr. Nihal to the Hon. Anura Pryadarshana Yapa. As the Minister was not available, Mr. Nihal assured the delegation for date and time for meeting with the Minister. As, Mr. Nihal expressed his willingness to get the Copy of the Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation for his own reading, the delegation gifted them.
