Sri Lanka: Quran Sinhala Translation Gifted to Minister of Plantation Industries

“ONE COMMUNITY – ONE LEADER"

A three member delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Sri Lanka (AMJSL) comprising Mr. A. Abdul Aziz, Press Secretary and National Director Faith Outreach – AMJSL, Moulavi A.B. Musthaq Ahmad – Chief Missionary (AMJSL), and Mr. I. Shakeel Ahmad (Photographer) visited to Ministry of Plantation Industries in Colombo today (29/01/2018).

Ministry Officials welcomed the delegation and served a cup of Coffee and arranged to meet Hon. Navin Dissanayake, Minister of Plantation Industries.

To welcome the delegation, Minister stood up from his seat and coming close to the delegation and paid attentively to what the Jama’at delegation had to say.

Prior to the presentation of the Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation to the Minister, Jama’at delegation briefed to the Minister about the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at and said that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (a.s.) claimed to be the Promised Reformer of this age as foretold in four major religions of the world, namely Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam. After his demise, the system of Khilafath established in this Community as of system of Caliph established after the demise of Prophet of Islam (PBUH). While pointed out this, it was observed Minister was also well aware of Islamic history on this very point.

Introducing the Sinhala Translation of the book World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace – A compilation of addresses in various Parliaments by His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, May Allah Strengthen his hands, it was told about the tireless efforts being made by the Khalifa and the Ahmadiyya worldwide leader, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, by spreading the true teachings of Islam through various means, particularly addressing lawmakers at Capitol Hill, EU Parliament, UK Parliament, Ireland Parliament, New Zealand Parliament, Dutch Parliament, Canada Parliament and so on so forth.

While explaining as above, the efforts being made by His Holiness Hazrat Khalifathul Masih V (a.t.a) for the establishment of peace, the Minister pointed out Wahabis in Saudi Arabia being the main role spreading extremism as well as voidance in the name of religion and added that he is totally against this doctrine.

The delegation pointed out about the unique feature of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and said that this is the only Community in Islam which has Spiritual Leadership established by God and termed as ““ONE COMMUNITY – ONE LEADER’.

Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation as well as the Sinhala Translation of the book World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace were presented to the Minister.
