Jalsa Salana is marked every year world wide.

The event started on Friday evening and will end on Sunday.

The three-day function has been graced by traditional leaders including the Kamuswaga of Kooki Apollo Sansa Kabumbuli, prince from Busoga Edward Colombus Wambuzi Muloki among others.

They have been welcomed by the leader of Ahmadiyya movement for Uganda and Rwanda, Alhajji Muhammad Ali Kaire. The year's theme says: "Peace and Justice."

In his brief remarks, the Kamuswaga has commended the Ahmadiyya Muslim for the togetherness, preaching of peace and justice.
