UK: Ahmadiyya Muslim Women's Peace Symposium 2018


An exhibition was held to introduce the community with interactive activities to test their knowledge on ‘Myths about Islam & Muslim Women’.

Lajna Imaillah auxiliary- An Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s association held their 9th Annual Women’s Peace Symposium on the 20th January 2018.

This event was held in Baitul Futuh Mosque, Surrey. The theme of this event was Freedom, Faith and Liberty; ensuring the rights of women. This gathering was blessed with honorable guests from all walks of life.

The guests were given a brief introduction about the community. They were told the aim of this community was to live according to the true teachings of Islam; which were revived by the Promised Messiah.

This was followed by a short video explaining the different tasks carried out by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s association over the course of the year. Moreover, an exhibition was held to introduce the community with interactive activities to test their knowledge on ‘Myths about Islam & Muslim Women’.

At the end a Q/A session was also held to enable the guests to ask any questions they may have.
