USA: Oshkosh City Council approves permit for Ahmadiyya Muslim mosque

The mayor said he'd have some of the same concerns about noise that the residents have, but doesn't anticipate any problems for the neighborhood.

Oshkosh City Council approves permit for mosque

The Oshkosh City Council has approved a permit for an area mosque.

Channel five has been told that some of the people who spoke out against the mosque received hate mail.

Muslim leaders plan to hold many community events at the center.

The mayor said he'd have some of the same concerns about noise that the residents have, but doesn't anticipate any problems for the neighborhood.
