After deciding not to issue regulations regarding the ban Ahmadiyah activities, Jakarta Provincial Government firmly instructed the local unit of work (SKPD) and Jakarta religious harmony forum (FKUB) to consistently implement and disseminate the Joint Decree (SKB), three ministers and attorney general who set about the existence of Ahmadiyah in Indonesia. To support this, Jakarta Governor Fauzi Bowo will issue a letter of instruction.
"About how we respond to the Ahmadiyah, it is set in three ministerial decree. Orally, I have instructed all SKPD from the highest ranks to the bottom to consistently apply it. For a while, formally written instructions already exist and live signed by me," said Fauzi Bowo, at City Hall on Wednesday (3/9).
He explained that city administration, FKUB, all residents of Jakarta and other parties should be held on the constitution and laws and regulations that exist and must not exceed the authority of the parent institution. Religious affairs, he added, is the authority and the authority of the central government through the Ministry of Religious Affairs, so it must refer to the rule.
The points contained in the decree of three ministers and the attorney general issued on June 9, 2008, first is giving a warning and ordered to community members not to tell, encourage or seek public support to the interpretation of a religion followed in Indonesia or conducting religious activities resembles the religious activities of that religion which deviate from the principal teachings of that religion.
Second, give warning and ordered to the followers, members, and/or members of the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Jama`at (JAI), all claim to Muslims, to stop spreading interpretations and activities which deviate from the principal teachings of Islam that is spreading ideology that recognizes the existence of prophets with all of his teachings after Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Third, adherents, members, and/or members of the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Jama`at (JAI), which does not heed the warnings and orders referred to FIRST and SECOND Diktum to be sanctioned in accordance with the provisions of legislation, including the organization and its legal entity.
Fourth, give warning and ordered the citizens to keep and maintain religious harmony and peace and order in social life by not doing deeds and / or unlawful acts against followers, members, and/or members of the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Jama`at (JAI).
Fifth, people who do not heed the warnings and orders referred to FIRST and FOURTH Dictum may be penalized in accordance with the provisions of the legislation.
Sixth, ordered the government and local government officials to take steps within the framework of security guidance and supervision of the implementation of this Joint Decree. Seventh, the Joint Decree is valid from the date of enactment.
