The distribution of more than four thousands academic books and other literatures to various elementary, junior and senior high schools in Monrovia took place on March 17, 2011. The books donated by Bishop Rodwell Buckley of the Faith International church, entrusted to Humanity First- Liberia, were distributed to St. Mary Catholic High School in Dualah; College of West Africa C.W.A. on Ashmun Street, G. W. Gibson Junior and Senior High School on Capitol Bye-pass and the W.V.S. Tubman High School on 12th Street, Sinkor. The books and literatures are to be used in the libraries of the schools, which is 'a means Of Identifying with the academic standards of the schools.
In brief remarks, during the distribution of the books, the chairman of the board of Directors, of Humanity First- Liberia Mr. Mansour Ahmad Nasir, said Bishop Rodwell Buckley entrusted Humanity First-Liberia with the books. He asserted further, though Humanity First-Liberia will continue to serve man kind, around the world, Liberia, will soon benefit again from libraries and laboratories equipments for schools.
Meanwhile, through MONICA another NGO, the books were distributed to some elementary schools in Bomi County; other school —Shah Taj Ahmadiyya Elementary in Tweh Farm, Ahmed Abed Ahmadiyya Elementary School in Po-River were beneficiaries of the books: Maths, Social Studies, Language Arts, dictionaries, and encyclopedia etc.
In separate remarks, recipients of the books, principals of the various schools, lauded Humanity First-Liberia, and expressed appreciation and gratitudes to Bishop Rodwell Buckkley, donor of the books.
