Canada: Ahmadiyya Muslim Community sets new Guinness Book World Record - Smiley Face

Explaining the true purpose, the Association said: "[It] was organized to spread the peaceful and loving message of Islam by building the world’s largest human smiley face."

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Canada sets new record - Guinness Book World Record Made for the largest Smiley Face

Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya) of Canada has made a new Guinness Book World Record for the largest-participated - Smiley Face

The event took place on Saturday, July 16th, 2011 at Bruce’s Mill Conservation Area in Whitchurch-Stouffville.

The effort was part of a special program to propagate the peaceful message of Islam, the community said.


Explaining the true purpose, the Association said: "[It] was organized to spread the peaceful and loving message of Islam by building the world’s largest human smiley face."

With the smiley face, there was a banner stating the motto “Love for all, Hatred for none”.

The previous record was set on June 30th, 2011 which was 2,226 participants.

"By the grace of Allah, the smiley face record was shattered with the new record of 2,981 participants," said website of the organization behind the effort, Majlis Khhudamul Ahmadiyya, Canada.
