UK: Ahmadiyya Muslims promote Quran's message of peace

The main purpose of this seminar was to spread the peaceful message of Quran to all communities and to eradicate the misunderstandings which are widely spread in western communities about this Holy book.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Cardiff held a seminar on 09th July, 2011 on the topic of “The Holy Quran: A message of Peace” at Saint Thomas Church.

The main purpose of this seminar was to spread the peaceful message of Quran to all communities and to eradicate the misunderstandings which are widely spread in western communities about this Holy book.

A large number of People from all communities including teachers and representatives of different Churches participated in it.


 Mr. Ikram Dar of  Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Cardiff introduced the community and welfare activities of the community throughout the United Kingdom.

Mr. Mubarik Ahmad Basra, also from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community,  introduced the peaceful education of Quran with different references.

The seminar ended after a short Question & Answer session.

Visitors were served lunch before leaving.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a reformist movement within Islam. The Community was established in 1889 in Qadian, India. It spans over 190 countries and has membership exceeding tens of millions.
