LAHORE: The Khatme Nabuwat Lawyers Forum (KNLF) is looking up past resolutions passed by the Lahore Bar Association (LBA) regarding bans on Shezan products.
Speaking with The Express Tribune KNLF president Chaudhry Ghulam Mustafa said they had learnt about a resolution passed by LBA’s house a few years back banning Shezan products.
He said that resolution had not been enforced but KLNF was keen to locate a copy of it in the records.
He said a record keeper had been told to look up the resolution so that KNLF could decide whether or not a new resolution should be moved.
He said there would be no need to move another resolution if the previous resolution was found.
LBA president Chaudhry Zolifqar Ali said that a general body meeting would soon be called for a debate on the ban.
