Not far from where the virulent anti-Islamic movie, “Innocence of Muslims,” was filmed, American Muslims gather to remove dangerous misconceptions and negative stereotypes about Prophet Muhammad.

According to a media advisory issued by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, one of the oldest Muslim organizations in the United States, they will be celebrating the life, character, mission and impact of Prophet Muhammad at the community's 27th Annual West Coast Convention.

The event will take place Friday, December 28th, to Sunday, December 30th, further according to the media advisory.

The venue for the event is at the 27,000-square-foot Baitul Hameed Mosque (11941 Ramona Avenue) in Chino, California.

The three-day annual conference, the community said, will cover a wide range of topics, including Prophet Muhammad; Messenger of Peace and Reconciliation; Islamic Concept of Freedom of Speech; Prophet Muhammad’s Patience and Forbearance; Absolute Trust in Allah: Finding Inner Peace; Defending the Honor of Prophet Muhammad; and Islamic Recipe for Avoiding Society’s Ills.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA will join leaders, lawmakers and other luminaries to show respect for the great founder of Islam.
