Qadian, India: Ahmadiyya Salana Jalsa set to begin, devotees arrive from Pakistan

When the special buses reached in Ahmadiyya ground at 2pm Ahmadi Muslims raised slogans “Islam Zindabad, Ahmadiat Zindabad, Derwaishan Qadian Zindabad, Hadhrat Masih Maood Alaisalam Zindabad, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad Khalifatul Masih Zindabad”.

QADIAN: First group of Jalsa Salana participants from Pakistan reached here in Qadian today. The group containing eight hundred Ahmadi Muslims from Pakistan was warmly welcomed by the city peoples.

When the special buses reached in Ahmadiyya ground at 2pm Ahmadi Muslims raised slogans “Islam Zindabad, Ahmadiat Zindabad, Derwaishan Qadian Zindabad, Hadhrat Masih Maood Alaisalam Zindabad, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad Khalifatul Masih Zindabad”.

In this group those women who are married in Pakistan also came to attend Ahmadiyya Convention Qadian. Tarique Ahmad Khan told this reporter that her sister Amtul Hadi and Bushra who were married in Rabwah Pakistan came with this group.

He said it is very difficult to get India visa but they have only one hope when Jalsa salana Qadian comes on, they get India visa.

On the other side Pakistani brides who are married in Qadian are also very happy. Their parents, brothers, sisters and other relatives have arrived from Pakistan. Tahira told this reporter that whole year they wait for December.

Mohammad Nasim Khan told that government of India has issued more than 5,500 visas to the Pakistani Ahmadies. He said we are getting full co-operation from Centre, Punjab Government and District administrations. Qadian SHO Sooba Singh told that special security has been deployed in the different parts of the city.
