Hadhrat (His Holiness) Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the worldwide head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community said today in his Friday sermon that the community is made to face difficulties created by the influence of mullahs and muftis in several Muslim republics from the former Soviet Union.
His Holiness said that before the independence of the Russian states there was no freedom of religion but after gaining autonomy, many governments of the Muslim states are being pressurized by local mullahs and muftis to act against the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community already faces significant prosecution in countries like Pakistan and Indonesia.
His Holiness said that Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Community that strives to spread the real teachings of Islam across the World, which is of peace, love and Harmony.
