Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA (AMC) has condemned the beheading of a 54 years old woman, Colleen Hufford, and the stabbing of another woman, 43 years old Traci Johnson, in Oklahoma.

According to a press release issued by the organization, the community prayed "[may] God Almighty give the victim’s families patience, comfort, and strength during this difficult time."

"Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA condemns this horrific act in the strongest possible manner," said Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA National Vice President Dr. Nasim Rehmatullah. "We wholly reject this barbaric and inhumane act,and we mourn with the victims."

The community also commended the heroes who bravely intervened and stopped the attacker. "Their courage should not be forgotten."

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1920, is among the oldest American-Muslim organizations.

The suspect, Alton Nolen, is a recent Muslim convert but the murderous rampage is not linked to terrorism, according to the latest news reports.

Nolen, according to the investigators, was trying to convert employees to Islam.
