USA: Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Fort Worth Women’s Auxiliary hosted Women’s Expo


The expo featured two keynote speakers, Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price and Dr. Jamie Walker Erwin, an obstetrician and gynecologist who gave a presentation on preventative health care for women of all ages.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Fort Worth Women’s Auxiliary recently hosted a “Women’s Health and Wellness Interfaith Expo” at Tarrant County College South campus in Fort Worth. The Expo drew a diverse group of women form different religions, cultures, creeds and races. It was a representation of the community’s mission, which is unity in diversity.

The expo featured two keynote speakers, Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price and Dr. Jamie Walker Erwin, an obstetrician and gynecologist who gave a presentation on preventative health care for women of all ages.

The participants included the Multicultural Alliance, Daughters of Abraham, Baylor Health Care, Joan Katz Breast Center, American Cancer Society, Moncrief Cancer Institute, TCC Trinity River Campus Allied Health Programs, Humanity First and Kim Karlson Ministries.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a reformist and fast-growing international movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, the Community spans more than 206 countries with membership over 160 million. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1920, is among the oldest American-Muslim organizations.
