USA: Glen Ellyn Imam visits DuPage County, offers cooperation in community services


Imam Shamshad offered his services for the betterment of education in the community in his capacity as a leader of the the Ahmadiyya Muslim community.

Imam Shamshad A. Nasir of Baitul Jamay Mosque in Glen Ellyn met with Sheryl Markay, Deputy Chief of Staff DuPage County and Chad Shaffer, Policy and Program Administrator, DuPage County Board on Thursday, October 16th 2014 in Wheaton.

Imam Nasir introduced himself and the Ahmadiyya Muslim community which he belongs to.

Imam told the officials about the efforts which Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is making to establish peace in the world and how the leader of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has addressed in the European Parliament and Capital Hill and in has sent letters to various government leaders in good faith.

Imam Nasir presented a book entitled "World Crisis and Pathway to Peace,"by Mirza Masroor Ahmad.

Imam Shamshad offered his services for the betterment of education in the community in his capacity as a leader of the the Ahmadiyya Muslim community.

The county officials welcomed the Imam and assured to to support and cooperate on behalf of DuPage County Administration.
