KOCHI: Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamath observed Eid-ul-azha at various parts of the district and distributed meat to the financially weaker section.
Moulavi Sulthan Naseer led the Eid prayer at Masjid Umar, St. Benedict Road, Ernakulam North.
During his speech, he asked the Muslims who are engaged in terrorist activities to introspect.
He reminded that Mohammed Nabi had warned not to harm women and children during war and not to destroy trees.
Eid prayers was also held at Vazhakkala, Palluruthy, Fort Kochi, Airapuram and Muvattupuzha Ahmadiyya Masjid.
