UK: New Ahmadiyya mosque with sleeping quarters proposed for Scunthorpe


The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association is asking North Lincolnshire Council for permission to demolish an existing existing mosque and erect a purpose-built new one.

A new mosque is planned for Scunthorpe.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association is asking North Lincolnshire Council for permission to demolish an existing mosque and erect a purpose-built new one, to include sleeping quarters on the upper floors for a religious leader.

The proposed location is 53 Cliff Closes Road, Scunthorpe.

Planners have the application under consideration and say they will welcome comments until October 14.
