“Muslims for Life”, a campaign launched by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, is organizing its annual Blood Drive in September, 2015. This is a commemorative effort to honor the innocent victims of 9/11 and the Boston Marathon bombing. The blood drives will be conducted at all our mosques, prayer centers, malls, schools, colleges, and universities.
In 2014, 168 one-day blood drives were registered by 54 of our local chapters that helped collect 6,127 pints. In past four years this campaign has thus helped to arrange some 1,074 blood drives which collected 39,477 pints - enough to have helped save as many as 118,431 lives.
We thank many faith and non-faith based organizations whose collaboration makes this possible. We are sincerely grateful to them all and pray that God bless them abundantly for their help and assistance.
These blood drives will be conducted throughout the state. The schedule of the drive is as follows:
1. September 24th - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4833 Suwanee
Dam Rd NW, Suwanee, GA, 30024 2:30pm -7:30pm
2. September - 29th - GSU Sports Arena - 15 Decatur Street, Atlanta, GA 30303 8am - 6pm
3. September - 29th -GSU Commons- 141 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30303
I invite my fellow Americans to come and help us in saving lives. Let’s shed
blood to save the lives of others.
