India: Majlis Ansarullah organizes various competitions during annual convention in Qadian

Qadian: Majlis Ansarullah Bharat organized various competitions on the second day of their 36th National Ijtema (convention) in Qadian.

The first session of the second day of the convention began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

Qari Nawab Ahmad National President of Majlis Ansarullah Bharat presided over the function where the first speech was delivered by the Maulana Munir Ahmad Khadim.

Khadim said in his speech that Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud Din Mehmood Ahmad, second Caliph of Islam-Ahmadiyya founded the auxiliary organization, Majlis Ansarullah, in 1940. Khadim offered also a brief the history of Majlis Ansarullah.

Maulana Mohammad Kalim Khan and Doctor Jawad Ahmad also addressed the Ijtema.

Later during the day various sports competitions were held at Ahmadiyya Ground. A special lunch party was given to the Ijtema participants at Sarae Tahir after Zohar (mid-day) prayers.

In the second session of the day competitions for the recitation of the Holy Quran, poem and speeches were held at Masjid Darul Anwar.

The concluding session of the convention will be held on 15th October after Isha Prayers where prize distribution ceremony will be held at Talim-ul Islam Senior Secondary ground at Qadian.
