Issuing a visa to someone whom we know would divide us with his extreme views sends the wrong signal to our Muslim youth.

I'm an Australian Ahmadiyya Muslim youth from western Sydney and I'm afraid the Australian government will be guilty of double-standards if it does not cancel controversial right-wing Dutch MP Geert Wilders' visa.

Last weekend our Prime Minter Malcolm Turnbull clearly outlined that whoever does not agree with "Australian values" and mutual respect was not welcome in Australia. Issuing a visa to someone whom we know would divide us with his extreme views sends the wrong signal to our Muslim youth.

We Australians should welcome those who unite us not divide us at this critical time.
