A meet of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat (AMJ) here on Sunday to commemorate the centenary of the organisation’s activities in the State highlighted the dangers of religious terrorism.

Inaugurating the meet, Shuhaib Ahmed, AMJ national finance wing head, said religious terrorism posed a threat to civilisation.

Intolerance growing in all religions was taking the world to darkness, he said, adding that the recent terror attacks in Paris and Mali were pushing the Islamic world into a serious crisis.

AMJ leaders K.M. Ahmed Koya, A.K. Muhammad Saleem, Muhammad Ismail and U. Mansoor Ahmed were among those spoke at the function.
