Sri Lanka: Holy Qur’an Sinhala translation delivered after request for more copies by Lalith Athulathmuthali College


The distribution of the Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation by Ahmadi Muslims have irked certain anti-Ahmadi Mullahs of Sri Lanka.

-- Fire of Jealousy rages in the hearts of Ahmadi opponents!

A two member delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Sri Lanka (AMJSL) comprising Mr.A. Abdul Aziz, Sec. Tabligh (AMJSL), Moulavi K. Muneer Ahmad (Missionary - Pasyala), visited one of the Sri Lanka’s Southern Coastal City Moratuwa on 18 January 2016, to gift Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation to Schools in the area. This is their second visit.

The delegation met Principal, Lalith Athulathmuthali College, Mount Lavinia, on his invitation, to gift him more copies of Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation.

The Principal of Veerapuran Appu Vidyalaya, while accepting the Holy Qur’an Copy said: I have never seen Holy Qur’an in my life and expressed his interest to get the copy.

A Security officer of a school met the delegation on their return from the said school after donating Holy Quran, requested a copy of Qur’an with deep enthusiasm, the delegation gifted to him.

While accepting this Holy Book, the another School principal said: this is the need of the hour.

The delegation also visited Kandawela Navodya Maha Vidyalaya, De Soysa Maha Vidyalaya, Moratuwa Maha Vidyalaya, Prince of Wales College, Princess of Wales College, Rawathawatte Methodist Maha Vidyalaya and donated the copies of Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation

To all of them, along copy of the Sinhala Translation of the Holy Qur’an with some other literatures including Peace Messages in English as well as Sinhala were presented. Moreover, the Sinhala Translation of the book ‘The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam’ written by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad – Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Islam, also presented.

President of All Ceylon Jamaiyathul Ulema (ACJU), Rizvi Mufthi expressed his agony and says, Qadianis are distributing Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation to Buddhist clergies, schools, universities and politicians including President, Speaker and Opposition Leader of Sri Lanka and raised the question, what is the need?

ACJU President was addressing in a meeting organized by All Ceylon Jammiyathul Ulema at Negombo Jumma Mosque recently to defend the end of prophethood.

"ACJU President does not know about the necessity of teachings of Holy Qur’an to all human beings," says A.  Abdul Aziz, Press Secretary, AMJSL who has been part of the delegations that have continued to gift the Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation to many gignatories. "This Holy Book was sent through the Universal Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to guide all mankind. It is the book, not only for Muslims. An open book for all."

"People should read and understand this Holy Book – that is our prayers and wish," Aziz added.
