World Religions Conference In Kamloops On 21 February
VANCOUVER – (Gian Singh Kotli) A much needed and timely World Religions Conference is being organized on the topic of “Tackling the Radicalization in Faith” on 21 February 2016 from 3 to 6 PM at Clock Tower Building, Thompson Rivers University, Kamloops, B.C.
The dire need of the present times full of turmoil and strife is to promote love and better understating through interfaith interaction and also to tackle the radicalization in Faith. In this respect it is commendable that Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat B.C. has arranged this multi-faith conference in Kamloops and invited learned speakers from Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, and Sikhism to present their faith perspective on the given topic of “Tackling the Radicalization in Faith” in the world as enshrined on the holy pages of their respective Faith-Books.
Prominent Hindu Scholar Prameya Chaitanya, Maulana Balal Khokhar and Gian Singh Kotli from Greater Vancouver will present their faith perspective. The credit of organizing several such humanitarian conferences goes to Rizwan Peerzada and his team of dedicated volunteers whereby they spread the peace message of Islam and also provided opportunity to other Faiths to spread their message.
It is quite encouraging that Media, several organizations including local Sikh Temples have offered their support to this event. Contact: 1-7671965. Rizwan Peerzada, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat. B.C.
